If you have one, what do you have, and how do you like it? I'm looking for one myself. Thanks in advance.

Hi all,
I have an XM Radio. I really love it. I listen to a lot of things on it. It is great.

But aren't XM and Sirius the same company now?

I have a nexis 50 I like it alot nut you have to memorize the channels that you like because you don't have presets with this one but its verry nice you just point the remote punvh in the channel and there you go. Plus you can store up to like a gig of either cm content or mp3's I think its nice and small and thats what I like.

XM and syrius have not joined yet. there are rumors flying and have bben flying for years. Who knows when they will join and if they ever will.

I read recently that the merger is on the verge of being approved, it will still be awhile before it takes effect. eventually they will be merging their content somehow.

I have a Sirius Sporster V that works good for me. It has 30 presets and the buttons are easy to feel. I use it in the plug and play boombox. I have one boombox at home and one at work so I just carry my receiver back and forth and pop it in the box. It's bitchin'.

the merge I think will be a good thing. They've been talking about it for years, and it will take it a while for it to fully come about even after it's been approved; however, I do not doubt in the slightest that it will be done.

It will be done eventually, but I fale to see how it will benifit consumers. Yes, you will have the opprotunity to have more content options, but that also means much higher prices. As for me, I have the Roadie II which is a nice little radio. There is direct keypad entry, which means I can just enter the channel I'd like to go to, and accessing the presets is also easy.

what noone is stopping is the sattlelights for each compan are positioned in different places so to get something that will work with both is going to be big and bulky and consumers are going to fall for it.

I have XM, and got a newsletter that the price would not increase for subscribers of XM when the merger took place. I don't know if the price for new subscribers will be effected, but I imagine that it will be. As far as the moddle, I have the SkyPhi, which I'm sure I've misspelled. It's a delphi product, and from what I can gather, has since been discontinued. As far as the keypad, it has two rows of buttons, the top row being 1 through 5. It does have a remote with a keypad much like that of a telephone. I hope this information is of some use.

Well, I think XM will make things work before merging. They aren't that stupid. They will want to keep their customers.

There will be different pricing/tier options when the merger occurs--the highest will be about $17.
I have the MyFi which is great, because it is portable allows for thirty presets allows for punching in of channels on the keypad ETC. You can also record content. I have seen the Inno, and am not impressed with it because you can not punch channels in unless one has the remote.
